NORTHERN OHIO TRACTIONS STEEL CAR INTERIOR VIEW OF CAR bule dash. The back of this block is cut to fit the dash,and it is fastened to it with a rubber gasket for weath-erproofing purposes. This block serves as an insulator,and the dash is cut away from behind the block topermit the bus lines to connect with the receptacles.A plug for the headlight was also provided in thisblock so as to shorten the leads. These cars were de-signed and built under the supervision of J. G. Swain,general superintendent of power and shops, and P. J.Wood, superintendent of shops, under the direction ofCharles Currie, the vice-president and general managerof the Northern Ohio Traction & Light Company.
