El delegado de Salud, Seguridad y Emergencias, Javier Barbero, es el presidente del Fórum Español para la Prevención y la Seguridad Urbana (FEPSU) El modelo policial debe pensarse dentro de un modelo integral de seguridad que tenga en cuenta que la seguridad es una cuestión compleja en la que intervienen factores como la estabilidad económica, la cohesión comunitaria, la educación, o la calidad del entorno urbano Esta nueva policía también tiene que ser capaz de implementar modelos de comunicación y relación con la ciudadanía basadas en la proximidad y la confianza, y que integre la prevención y la resolución de conflictos de convivencia como pieza clave de un modelo integral de seguridad 15/02/2019

El presidente del Fórum Español para la Prevención y la Seguridad Urbana (FEPSU) y delegado del Área de Salud, Seguridad y Emergencias del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Javier Babero, ha elevado un informe a la Comisión para el estudio del modelo policial del siglo XXI, del Congreso de los Diputados, que recoge una serie de consideraciones sobre qué características deben reunir los cuerpos de policías locales.
