Tabán and the Royal Palace in 1945 after the Siege of Budapest

Description	English: The ruins of the Tabán neighbourhood and the Royal Palace after the Siege of Budapest in 1945. The Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St Demetrius in the foreground has lost its roof and spire, the Roman Catholic Church of St Catherine of Alexandria survived the war in a better shape. There is a burned out tank in the Tabán Park. Magyar: A Tabán és a Királyi Palota romjai 1945-ben, az ostrom után. A szerb Szent Demeter-székesegyháznak hiányzik a teteje és a toronysisakja, a katolikus Szent Katalin-templom jobb állapotban vészelte át a háborút. A tabáni parkban egy kiégett tank látszik.
