An air coil attracts a magnet on a pendulum

DescriptionEine 3-Ampere Luftspule in Aktion.jpg	Deutsch: Die Luftspule hatte etwa 5 cm Innendurchmesser, der Außendurchmesser lag bei rund 6 cm. Die gesamte Länge des gewickelten Drahtes lag bei etwa 12 m. Der Drahtquerschnitt betrug 0,7 mm². Die Anzahl n der Wicklungen war 67. Durch den Draht flossen 3 Ampere bei rund 0,28 Volt. Nach einigen Zehnersekunden fühlte sich der Draht zwischen warm bis heiß an. Ein in der Nähe frei hängender Permanent-Stabmagnet wurde deutlich angezogen. Zog man den Magneten mit der Hand heraus, spürte man eine deutliche magnetische Kraft. Der Stabmagnet hatte eine Masse von etwa 24 Gramm, die Pendellänge lag bei rund 23 cm.
