English: Seaman Davis James prepares intravenous tubing before collecting a donor’s blood during a U.S. Pacific Command Armed Services Blood Bank Center blood drive Nov. 3, 2016 in the library aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The library drive is an initiative hosted by the ASBBC to support medical facilities across Okinawa and operations across the Asia-Pacific region. During the drive, donors underwent a comprehensive screening process to ensure they were healthy and prepared to donate blood. The ASBBC is the primary provider of blood and plasma for exercises and operations across the region.
