Among those fighting aviators for the Loyalists in the Spanish Civil war is Edward [sic] Schneider, a former resident of Locust Point. Eddy is serving under Bert Acosta, commander of the Yankee squadron of the Loyalist forces. He attended the Middletown high school at Leonardo for four years and later moved to Jersey City where be received a course in aviation. When less than 21 years of age he won the junior coast to coast championship. Four years ago at the invitation of Paul I. Works copyrighted before 1964 had to have the copyright renewed sometime in the 28th year. If the copyright was not renewed, the work is in the public domain. No renewal notice was found for this periodical for issues published in this year. For instance, the first New York Times issue renewed was from April 1, 1928. Some publications may have renewed an individual article from an earlier time, for instance the New York Times renewed at least one article published on January 9, 1927. If you find any contrary evidence, or the renewal database has been updated, please notify me.
