A ZERO POLLUTION eBoat produced by an NGO in Mauritius

English: Last year, a Japanese tanker the Wakashio created a horrible oil spill in the lagoon of Mauritius.
In response our NGO, (SPES) devised and produced a ZERO POLLUTION boat capable of transporting 30 passengers. It is powered by electric outboard engines with batteries recharged by solar panels and wind energy. Drinking water is obtained by Atmospheric Water Collection and a Compostable toilet is on board for emergency use. The eBoat will be used for historical and environmental cruises...free to underprivileged and handicapped groups. Check our web site for further details www.spes.mu
Français : L'annee derniere, un navire-citerne Japonais , le Wakashio, s'est echoue sur les recifs de l'ile Maurice, produisant une horrible maree noire. En reponse, notre ONG (SPES) a concu et construit une embarcation ZERO POLLUTION capable de transporter 30 passagers. Ses moteurs electriques sont recharges par ds panneaux solaires et une eolienne verticale silencieuse. L'eau potable est collectee de l'atmosphere et les toilettes d'urgence sont compostables. Le eBoat servira a des croisieres historiques et environmentales...dont beneficieront gratuitement les groupes defavorises et autrement capables..
