Description
English: East Harbour

This photograph of East Harbour (the pleasure and yachting harbour) was taken the harbour wall adjacent to a small amusement park at the eastern end of Sandside.

The pier on the right is Old Pier and beyond that can be seen the sheds along West pier (commercial fishing). The end of Old Pier is connected to Vincent's Pier (and the lighthouse) by a drawbridge https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1729220 .

In the distance is the Grand Hotel https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1715435 to the left of which is the Spa Bridge https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1715566 .

In the late 60's I dabbled with a number of different makes of slide film before settling on Kodachrome. This one was a Boots own brand that you had to mount into your own frames, hence no actual processing date. The date given for the year taken is, by my recollection, the latest possible processing date. However, it could have been at any time during 1965 to 1969.
