Summary[edit]
DescriptionEarly ambrotype, restoration step 2 (reverse) (6089855087).jpg | Step 2: using a flat, sharp blade I carefully scraped off the remaining black lacquer and then cleaned the plate completely using a small bad of lighter fuel. The scan here shows the reverse view scanned against a white background, effectiveky showing it in it's original state as a simple underexposed wet collodion positive. |
