| Description |
English: One of the oldest known passages in a language identifiable as Yiddish, in the Maḥazor Worms. The sentence is written in red within the letters of the Hebrew title. The text is a rhyming couplet, fully vocalized.
גוּט טַק אִים בְּטַגְֿא שְ וַיר דִּיש מַחֲזֹור אִין בֵּיתֿ הַכְּנֶסֶתֿ טְרַגְֿא עברית: אחד מהקטעים הכי עתיקים הידועים הכתובים דווקא בלשון יידיש עתיקה, במחזור ווירמייזא (וורמס). המשפט היידיש הוא נכתב בדיו אדום בתוך אותיות הכותרת העברית. הטקסט הוא צמד חרוז והוא מנוקד לגמרי.
יידיש: גוּט טַק אִים בְּטַגְֿא שְ וַיר דִּיש מַחֲזֹור אִין בֵּיתֿ הַכְּנֶסֶתֿ טְרַגְֿא בעברית: יום טוב יזריח למי שנושא לבית הכנסת את המחזור הזהייִדיש: איינס פֿון די עלטסטע באַוווּסטע פּאַסאַזשן וואָס איז געשריבן אין אַלטע ייִדיש, אינעם מחזור ווירמייזא (וואָרמס). דער זאַץ איז געשריבן אין רויטע טינט אין די גרויסע העברעיִשע אותיות פֿונעם טיטל. עס איז אַ גראַם־קופּלעט מיט אלע די נקודות.
