Title
ear scoop
Description
English:

An incomplete copper-alloy artefact, the form of which suggests it may be a post-Medieval ear scoop rather than Roman.

The bent shaft is of circular section and of equal diameter throughout. The small circular scoop is set at one end, where the front face of the shaft angles downwards. At the opposite end is the remains of a loop, set at a right angle to the scoop. The metal has a reddish-brown patina.
