Description
Nederlands: Tekening uit het album van bombardier Egidius Pickhart van het militair magazijn in het voormalige Oude Minderbroedersklooster, later Sint-Pieterskazerne geheten, in Maastricht. Volledige titel: Afbeeldinge der voornaemste vertrekken binnen slands magasyn te Maestrigt. In order gebragt, gerangeert en gestapelt onder de directie van den Commis van 's Lands Magasynen te Maestrigt Franco Van der Cragt en afgeteckent door Egidius Pickhart, Bombardier onder de Artillerye ten dienste der Vereenigde Neederlanden. Maestrigt den VI Maert MDCCLIX. Collectie RHCL, Maastricht, inv.nr. RAL_K_367.
Tekening no. VII toont de tweede verdieping van de zuiderbeuk in de kerk, de zogenaamde 'Buysen Solder'. Bijschrift: "De Buysen Solder, of plaets alwaer gestapelt leggen de Buysen tot Bomben, tot Houwitzers, Granaden, tot Hand-Mortiers en Hand-Granaden, om de Pilaeren syn gerangeert de Storm-Seyssens, tussen byde hangen de Lampetten tot de Pick-kranssen, en aen by de Eyndens van de Solder is geplaets aen een eynde het Wapen van syn Hoogheyt de Heere Prince van Hessen Cassel als Gouverneur van Maestrigt en aen het andere eynde het Wapen van syn Excellentie den Heere Baron van Aylva, Gouverneur van Maestrigt, waar onder de Inscriptie van de Belegeringh, in de Colommens aen weerskanten syn aengeteekent de Naemen van de Heeren Generaels, Ingenieurs, en Officieren van d'Artillerye, als meede de Regimenten en Debris de welke in de Belegeringh gedient en gefungeert hebben, byde de Wapens gegarneert met Pistolen en Bajonetten &c."
