Summary[edit]
DescriptionESO's Hidden Treasures Winners (5348816698).jpg |
This is a mosaic composed of some of the winning entries for ESO’s Hidden Treasures 2010 astrophotography competition — an open competition organised by ESO between October and November 2010 for anyone who enjoys making beautiful images of the night sky using real astronomical data. The competition had extremely attractive prizes for the lucky winners, who produced the most beautiful and original images, including an all expenses paid trip to ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) on Cerro Paranal, in Chile, the world’s most advanced optical telescope. Congratulations to all the winners! http://www.eso.org/public/news/eso1102/ |
