Long post: WhaleWatch is a new NOAA computer program that uses NASA and other satellite data to predict the movements of four whale species, including blue whales. Funded by the NASA Applied Sciences Program, the tool was created to help decrease whale deaths due to collisions with ships and fishing gear. #EarthRightNow
