Summary[edit]

Description
English: View north across the tracks of the Durham Coast Line, close to the site of Horden railway station. The photograph is taken towards the bridge linking Arcacia Avenue with allotments across the railway line. What may be the remains of the former station's goods handling facilities are visible in the right of the image (though they could be more recent pieces of railway infrastructure). Horden station closed on 4 May 1964.
