Description
English: The Baroque altar is due to Giovanni Gloria and Giorgio Massari. It is decorated by two large marble angels, one to the right of Tommaso Bonazza and the other to the left of Jacopo Gabano, both dating back to 1751. The bronze panels were also made by Gabano and represent: prayer in the garden, the last supper, the washing of the feet, the preaching of John the Baptist, the miracle of the manna and the multiplication of the fish.
Français : L'autel baroque est dû à Giovanni Gloria et Giorgio Massari. Il est décoré par deux grands anges en marbre, l'un à droite de Tommaso Bonazza et l'autre à gauche de Jacopo Gabano, tous deux datant de 1751. Les panneaux de bronze ont également été fabriqués par Gabano et représentent : la prière dans le jardin, Le dernier souper, le lavement des pieds, la prédication de Jean-Baptiste, Le miracle de la manne et La multiplication du poisson.
Italiano: L'altare barocco è dovuto a Giovanni Gloria e Giorgio Massari. È decorato da due grandi angeli marmorei, uno a destra di Tommaso Bonazza e l'altro a sinistra di Jacopo Gabano, entrambi risalenti al 1751. Anche i pannelli di bronzo sono stati realizzati da Gabano e rappresentano: preghiera in il giardino, l'ultima cena, il lavaggio dei piedi, la predicazione di Giovanni il Battista, il miracolo della manna e la moltiplicazione del pesce.
