Description
Español: Pintura de la crucifixión de Jesús realizada en el siglo XVIII por el pintor Andrés López junto a sus hermanos en el templo del señor del Encino en Aguascalientes. Representación de la crucifixión en la cima del monte Calvario. Al centro se encuentra Jesús junto con dos ladrones, uno a cada lado. Pilato ordenó que pusieran en la cruz de Jesús la inscripción “Inri” (en castellano: Jesús Nazareno Rey de los Judíos). A los pies de la cruz de Jesús está su madre María y otras mujeres, así como Juan Apóstol o evangelista, quienes lo acompañaron hasta que murió.
