| Description |
English: Drying out after the flood, Upton-upon-Severn. The Plough Inn drying out after the July 2007 floods. The flood level can be seen on the pub's end wall, it can be seen just above the barrel. Traditionally this pub has always been a victim of flooding, however, in recent years a temporary flood barrier has held back the waters. Due to gridlock on the road due to extremely heavy rain on 20th July, the barriers never got to Upton on time, though the flood was so high the barriers would not have saved the buildings.
