Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Dronningens Vagtmester, der foregår under den Anden Karl Gustav-krig i 1658-1660. Vignet fra slutningen af kapitel 18 med Hannibal Sehesteds våben. Gøngehøvdingen Svend Poulsen kommer ned til Isefjord, hvor han hører, at adelsmanden Hannibal Sehested sender hans indsamlede levnedsmidler med et skib til København under sit eget våben. Svend Poulsen kritiserer ham, men Hannibal Sehested forklarer, at han har fjender og derfor støtter sig til Svend Poulsen. Han tilføjer at han måske selv kan komme til at hjælpe Svend Poulsen på et tidspunkt. Svend Poulsen (ca. 1610 - ca. 1679) og Hannibal Sehested (1609-1666) var virkelige personer, men historien er fiktion.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Dronningens Vagtmester by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1658-1660. Endpiece of chapter 18 with the coat of arms of Hannibal Sehested. Svend Poulsen, Gøngehøvdingen, goes to Isefjord where he hears how the nobleman Hannibal Sehesteds sends his collected food with a ship to Copenhagen under his own coat of arms. Svend Poulsen criticises him but Hannibal Sehested explains that he has enemies and thus lean on Svend Poulsen. He adds that someday he may be able to help Svend Poulsen himself. Svend Poulsen (app. 1610 - app. 1679) and Hannibal Sehested (1609-1666) were real persons but the story is fiction.
