Description
Français : Le sujet de cette estampe est un bouvier italien et un grouppe de trois boeufs. L'un de ce derniers vu par derrière est debout à la gauche, le second, aussi debout, se trouve un peu éloigné, presqu'au milieu de l'estampe; il est dirigé vers la droite, niais sa tète un peu retournée est vu entièrement de face. Le troisième en-fin, couché, est vu de trois quarts, et tourné vers gauche. On voit à droite, à une petite distance, le bouvier qui dort à terre, couché sur son côté gauche. Sa tète atteint le deuxième plan, et ses jambes sont étendues vers le devant; il est vu dans un raccourci parfait. Tout ce grouppe est sur le bord d'une rivière qui coule dans la largeur de la planche, et au delà de laquelle se présente une chaîne de montagnes, au pied de lune desquelles, qui est à droite, on appercoit des fabriques romaines garnies d'arbres.
