Built in 1908 as roller skating rink; converted later to dancehall. On verso of image: ""Dreamland"" - dancing pavilion, Seattle, Seventh and Union Streets

Contrary to what University of Washington Libraries description says above, Dreamland opened in 1906 (not 1908), and it wasn't exactly "converted" to a dancehall, it served both purposes, see [1].
