Fig. 5.—This drawing won Third Prize of $100 in 1921. It is by Beatrice Dwan, whoentered the Normal Art School in 1918, at the age of 17. First Prize of $200 was awarded to Ruth Deal in 1920. She entered the Normal ArtSchool in 1917, at age of 17. Her drawing was so injured it can not be reproduced.Miss Deal and Miss Dwan used the Drawing Glass in their first year.
