Description
English: A dado is shown at the bottom, an entablature on top. They are connected by pilaster strips, which are decorated by vertical poles which are surrounded by a spiral band, in grisaille. The inner panel shows on top a green ovolo molding and a high frieze with a flower garland. The lower part shows rows of palm tops upon olive ground. The palm tops consist of a row of petals, two rows of leaf boughs, and a petal on top of each. Two different sizes, different colorings are shown and their direction are opposite in alternate horizontal rows. The rows of the smaller motifs are staggered.
