Description Drake's Seat, a historic location on Saint Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. Legend says that it is the location where 16th-century explorer Sir Francis Drake kept watch for enemy ships and his fleet. It is also well known for a panoramic view of where the Caribbean Sea joins the Atlantic Ocean.
