Description
English: Stock certificate of the Draht-Fabrik-Compagnie for 400 talers, issued in Aachen on 30 June 1837, signed in the original by Dr. Johann Peter Joseph Monheim, member of the first board of directors and by Friedrich Thyssen, the founder and from 1834 technical and commercial director of the Compagnie. The company's capital of 12,000 talers was divided into 30 shares of 400 talers each when it was founded. After the company's new articles of association were approved in 1836, the capital was increased to 26,400 talers, divided into 66 shares of 400 talers each. Friedrich Thyssen owned three of these shares. With the founding of the Draht-Fabrik-Compagnie, Friedrich Thyssen, aged just 18, created the nucleus of the Thyssen family's industrial activities.

Juni 1837, im Original unterschrieben von Dr. Johann Peter Joseph Monheim, dem Mitglied des ersten Verwaltungsrats und von Friedrich Thyssen, dem Gründer und ab 1834 technischer und kaufmännischer Leiter der Compagnie. Das Kapital der Compagnie in Höhe von 12.000 Talern war eingeteilt bei der Gründung in 30 Aktien zu je 400 Talern. Nachdem 1836 neue Statuten der Compagnie genehmigt wurden, fand eine Kapitalerhöhung auf 26.400 Taler statt, eingeteilt in 66 Aktien zu je 400 Talern. Drei dieser Aktien besaß Friedrich Thyssen. Mit der Gründung der Draht-Fabrik-Compagnie erschuf der gerade mal 18 Jahre alte Friedrich Thyssen die Keimzelle der industriellen Aktivitäten der Familie Thyssen.
