Summary[edit]

Description
English: This photo was taken back in 2012 when our school had arranged for all upper secondary 3 students to take on dragon boating lessons in hopes to cultivate an active interest in leisure sports-related activities and to have an active healthy lifestyle while learning more about dragon boating throughout this process as part of our school curriculum program.

When this photo was taken, it was during one of our lessons mid-way through and we really came to admire this sports activity a lot due to the amount of coordination and teamwork we'd require from every one of the members when we are on the dragon boat itself and are required to paddle our paddles side by side in order to keep the boat balanced and to ensure the boat is going towards the location point we have planned prior.

With the help of our instructors, we were able to successfully complete our dragon boating lessons without any injuries and/or incidents, and we got to gain a valuable skill set and have made many fond memories bonding with other upper secondary 3 students from other classes overall.

Today, dragon boating along with kayaking and many other water sports activities are one of the most common sports-related activities to be partaken in and enjoyed by both the younger and older aged groups in Singapore altogether.
