Summary[edit]
DescriptionDownside of a Honeypot site - geograph.org.uk - 221704.jpg |
English: Downside of a Honeypot site. Rubbish overflowing from the bins from the previous afternoon - presumably some blows away from this exposed location. You would think that at £5.55/car they could afford another bin, or at the very least collect it in the evening. Not good at all. Visitors could also have just taken the excess rubbish with them in their cars. Plastic in the world's seas and oceans poses a serious threat to marine wildlife, http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7316441.stm. To be fair to the council they replied to my e-mail and pointed out the black sacks are unlikely to have come from tourists and are probably dumped illegally in the bins. Hopefully something will be done. |
