| Description |
English: Downland near Wylye 4. This view looking north east with the A303 trunk road 200m behind the camera, is of a farm track on chalk downland going down to Roakham Bottom, a combe or dry valley above the shallow valley of the River Wylye (pronounced 'Why-lee'). The river is marked by the line of trees that crosses the photo in the far distance with Codford Hill and Lamb Down beyond. This is the fourth and last of a series of views going left to right, the first being 872801. |
