Dubbele foto van een ontwerp voor een altaarstuk gewijd aan de heilige Joseph in de Sint-Martinuskerk in Maastricht. Dit altaarstuk werd gemaakt ter gelegenheid van het jubileum van paus Pius IX (1877?). Afkomstig uit een verzamelmap met 62 foto's van producten uit de Kunstwerkplaatsen Cuypers & Co. (Cuypershuis, inventarisnummer 0690).
