Description
Deutsch: Das Donauweibchen wird in der Wiener Sage als eine menschenfreundliche Nixe beschrieben. "Fürchtet euch nicht, ich bin gekommen, euch zu warnen. Heute hat der Strom seinen Eispanzer noch, aber in einigen Tagen wird der Tauwind wehen und das Eis krachend in Stücke springen. Dann wird die Donau steigen, ihre Fluten werden aus den Ufern treten und alle Fischerhütten überschwemmen. Darum rettet euch und verlasst diesen Ort!" (aus Volkssagen aus Österreich)
