English: Donald McNab was sentenced to 5 Years Penal Servitude for assault and robbery, as well as previous convictions.
On release, on 11-Sep-1895, he was 29 years old; his complexion was described as sallow, his hair dark brown, and his eyes slaty blue. His height was 5 feet 1 1/2 inch. He was noted as having the following distinguishing marks: Face narrows at chin, thick prominent nose, scar on back of head, inner zone of eyes is hazel. His address on release was 64 Uppoer Denburn, Mrs. McNab, Aberdeen. This image has been uploaded as part of the transcription project of the Register of Returned Convicts of Aberdeen (1869-1939), involving the Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Archives and Code the City. Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Archives collects, preserves and makes publicly accessible historical records relating to the City of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, and secures significant modern records for future generations. |
