J.S. Dodge was a Consultant Malariologist, ministry of Health, Kaduna, Northern Nigeria. He wrote a paper for the WHO here. In a 1968 paper by Bruce-Chwatt, he is mentioned as: "Dr J.S.Dodge, Senior Medical Officer (Epidemiology), City of Bradford, England, lately Malariologist-in-charge, Malaria Unit of the Northern Region of Nigeria". Born Barnet, Hertfordshire, 1 March 1929; studied medicine at St Bartholomew's Medical College (MB, BS 1952). He died 26 June 1994.
