Description
English: The Castle Reichsburg is located in Cochem (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany). It is assumed that the Castle was built around the year 1000 under Count Palatine Ezzo, son and successor of Count Palatine Hermann Pusillius. After being destroyed in the 17th century, the castle was rebuilt by Louis Fréderic Jacques Ravené in the neo-gothic style.
Deutsch: Die Reichsburg befindet sich in Cochem (Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutschland). Es ist angenommen, dass die Reichsburg etwa um das Jahr 1000 unter Pfalzgraf Ezzo, Sohn und Nachfolger von Pfalzgraf Hermann Pusillius erbaut wurde. Nach der Zerstörung im 17. Jahrhundert, wurde die Burg von Louis Fréderic Jacques Ravené im Neogotikstill wiederaufgebaut.
