Hingegen fehlen den Ostkarpathen Cyclamen europaenm und Bu- phthalmum salicifolium. Andere Bewohner des siebenbürgischen Buchenwaldes sind ferner noch Allium ursinum, Galanlhus nivalis, Gagea luiea, Paris quadri- folia, Scilla hifolia, Stellaria nemorum, Silene viridiflora, Cardaniine glandulosa, C. trifolia, C. bulbifera, Ranunculus Steveni, R. carpalicus, Lamium vulgare und L. cupreum, Geranium macrorrhizum, Saxifraga heucherifolia, S. rolundifolia,

Im Unterholze ist Spiraea ulmifolia nicht gerade selten, und dem Oberholze ist mitunter auch Tilia tomentosa bei- gemengt. Der dazische Fichtenwald weist ebenfalls einige eigentümliche Arten auf. Dazu gehört vor allem die bis in die Waldkarpathen weit verbreitete Cam- panula abietina, ferner die erst in höheren Lagen, bei ungefähr 1000 m, auf- tretende Primula carpatica. Auch die zierliche Ericazee Bruckenlhalia spicu- lifolia kommt, obwohl hauptsächlich der Krummholzregion angehörig, nicht
