Cominissura anterior und Balken. 133 Kommissur. Letztere ist schon bei Foetus Doed. vorbanden, vom Fornix- bündel ist aber noch keine Spur sichtbar. Die als Balkenfasern zu deutenden gekreuzten Fasern nehmen den hinteren, oberen Abschnitt des Verwachsungsfeldes ein, sie sind viel feiner als die Fornixfasern und beschreiben flache Bogen. In der Regel ist diese Platte als die Anlage des Gesamtbalkens und der Ort ihres ersten Auf- Faserbahn im Fornix longiis eine absteigende sein und von der Hirnrinde des Scliläfen- lappens znm Septum pellucidum und zum basalen Opticusganglion hinführen. Die von mir beschriebenen frühfoetalen Faserzüge der Fornixsäulen seheinen, soweit ich verfolgen kann, ihren Ursprung im basalen Teil des Zwischenhirns zu nehmen. Es ist indessen möglich, daß späterhin andere, umgekehrt verlaufende Faserzüge ihnen sich beigesellen.
