de Algaviaó Aligan. -Son la últimaramificación de los Alpes Réticos, y están limi-tados al O. por el valle del Rhin, al S. por elf. c. de Arlberg y el Inn; al E. por el collado deEhrwald y el Loisach, y al N. por la meseta deBaviera. Al S., hacia el Tirol y Vorarlberg, haydos cadenas paralelas de S. O. á N. E., quecontienen las cimas más elevadas, el Sollstein,Staurkoy, ó Staurkopf, el Wetterspitre, el Mot-terkopf y el Rothe-Wand que miden de 2 400 á2 600 metros. En territorio bávaro las más altascimas se encuentran cerca del nacimiento delIller y del Lech. La prolongación N. entreel curso medio del Yller y del Lech afl. delDanubio, tiene sus cimas más culminantes en elMádelc (2 642), el Hoch Vogel (2 590), Hoher(2 227) y el Aggerstcin (1 983). Los montes quese dirigen hacia el N. O., entre el lago de Cons-tanza, el Rhin y el Danubio, son conocidos conel nombre de Alpes de Constanza. Alpes de Baviera. - Confinan al O. con los Al- CAMINOS DE LOS ALPES W(<j :./. i¿£*
