Devils Acre Tavern on the Delaware Canal. Built in the 1800 when the canal was being dug. Whiskey was sold without license causing a scene of drunk ness- giving it its name “The Devils Acre”.

English: Historic tavern built in 1800 when the Canal was being dug. Through the years it changed ownership and became a welcome beacon to all travelers on the river and canal.
