Summary[edit]

Description The station clock and departures board in concourse of Toronto Union Station. As you can see, there are very few long distance departures during the day. Toronto Union Station is the primary railway station and intercity transportation facility in the city. The station building is owned by the City of Toronto, while the train shed and trackage is owned by the commuter rail operator GO Transit. Union Station has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada since 1975 and a Heritage Railway Station since 1989. This will hopefull ensure that this grand edifice is not knocked down to make way for a faceless steel and glass monstrosity. (Toronto, Canada, Nov.2015)
