Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Demolished bridge over the River Wey. The bridge carried the Guildford to Horsham railway over the River Wey at Peasmarsh. Being made of steel it was removed for scrap after the line closed in 1965. The Downs Link cycle route has now been completed on both sides of the river - all it needs now is a bridge to cross it by! One is proposed but sadly it has not even got as far as the design stage. |
