Description
English: Delta pylon in Mechelen-Leest, Belgium.

A Delta pylon has a V-shaped top carrying one or more traverses. Delta pylons (nearly) always have a phase-wire running through the enclosed hole on top of the pylon.

This Delta pylon with three traverses carries on the left and in the middle 150 kV connections to the Verbrande Brug–Lint en Verbrande Brug–Sidal power lines. On the right, it carries the 70 kV line Mechelen–Tisselt. The 70 kV line is connected to the pylon with a chain of 7 glass insulators, the 150 kV lines have 10 insulators.

Een deltamast heeft één mast die zich in tweeën splitst. Daarboven bevinden zich een aantal traversen, die in het mastlichaam een omsloten opening vormen waar een fasedraad dwars doorheen loopt.

Deze Deltamast met drie traverses voert links en in het midden twee 150 kV uitlopers naar de lijnen Verbrande Brug–Lint en Verbrande Brug–Sidal. Rechts draagt hij de 70 kV Mechelen–Tisselt. De 70 kV lijn hangt met een keten van 7 glas-isolatoren aan de mast, voor de 150 kV lijnen gebruikte men 10 isolatoren.
