Description
Deutsch: Delitzsch, Evangelische Stadtkirche St. Peter und Paul mit einer Ölberggruppe von 1408 (Steinabgüsse der Originalfiguren)
  • Gotische dreischiffige Hallenkirche mit Querwestturm, Backsteinbau, Westturm mit zwei Turmspitzen, baugeschichtlich, kunstgeschichtlich, städtebaulich, ortsbildprägend und ortsgeschichtlich von Bedeutung.
  • Ölberggruppe des Meister Hans von 1408
Rechts die Halbfigur vom Gott Vater, in der linken Hand ein Buch haltend und die rechte Hand zum Segen erhebend, vor ihm Jesus betend. Im Hintergrund die Jünger Petrus, Jakobus und Johannes.
Der Kopf des Petrus in der linken Ecke wurde nach 1889 ergänzt. Die Figuren der Jünger sind in etwas kleinerem Maßstab als die übrigen Figuren. Zwischen 1985 und 1989 wurden die Figuren und die Nische restauriert. Die Originalfiguren wurden zum Schutz in die Kirche verbracht.
