Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Deleted Teakettle Geyser on the northeastern banks of the Firehole River, Sawmill Group, south-central Upper Geyser Basin, Yellowstone Hotspot, northwestern Wyoming, USA on 13 August 2010. The name has an interesting history. In the early years, every feature acquired a name, and teakettle was a common, and natural, choice for geysers. An effort was made to remove redundant names by marking them as deleted . Someone, compiling a list, mistakenly copied this one as "deleted teakettle". No one has had the heart to change it.
