Summary
[edit]DescriptionDeer on Peat Hill - geograph.org.uk - 1801249.jpg |
English: Deer on Peat Hill What deer? Well, I saw several groups of deer today, but all except one saw me before I saw them. The exception is in this view (honest!) directly in line with the large stone by the side of the track, and before the long thin snowdrift. Its white rump actually looks pretty much like another boulder unless you look very very carefully. Unfortunately it heard me unfastening the velcro of the camera case, and seconds after I had taken this it bounded off across the heather, as they do. On the skyline is Dun Mount (602 metres) in NJ3920. |
