| Description | A wander up to Garth village and further on to Prospect Tea Room below Ruabon Mountain provides several aerial views of Cefn Mawr Viaduct carrying the railway across the River Dee and, in a few places, a foreground of Pont Cysyllte Aqueduct carrying the Llangollen Canal across the river. Sunshine on both and barges crossing the aqueduct as I waited for the steam train to arrive - what were the chances of sunshine and barges when 45231 arrived? Obvious answer but had a nice chat with a spotter from Dudley whilst we waited for the inevitable cloud to arrive! |
