Noatak River Story Map - Section 1 July, 2017

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Wild & Scenic Rivers Act by following along on a trip down the Noatak River.

On two 10-day float trips, we paddled over 200 miles of this winding river. The blue skies and bears were especially noteworthy in July. And during the September float, the autumn colors added a beautiful backdrop to the already incredible scenes of nature.
