An advertisement for the car on its 1937 launch was particularly enthusiastic about its "automatic brakes" which enabled it to stop in 30 feet from 30 mph.

The advertisement, which appeared in Britain's "Autocar" magazine in November 1937 was otherwise short on technical detail but long on gushing prose.
