Italiano: Tomba del barone Karl (o Carl) von Stempel (1862-1951) al cimitero acattolico di Taormina, gennaio 2006 (foto Giovanni Dall'Orto). Stempel fu la fonte di informazioni sul barone Wilhelm von Gloeden usata da Roger Peyrefitte per il suo romanzo Les amours singuliers (Eccentrici amori).
English: The grave of baron Karl (or Carl) von Stempel (1862-1951) and his family at Taormina (foto Giovanni Dall'Orto january 2006). Stempel was the source about Wilhelm von Gloeden and the belle époque gay community there for Roger Peyrefitte's novel Les amours singuliers.
