Summary[edit]

Description
English: A swingnose crossing at the north end of platforms 5 and 6 at Canary Wharf station on the Docklands Light Railway. Most trains using platforms 5 and 6, including the one this photograph was taken from, take the straight ahead route to platform 4 at West India Quay and then on towards central London. When trains for Poplar via West India Quay platform 3 need to take the diverging route, the nose of the crossing in the lower centre of the picture swings to the left to provide a continuous railhead.
