Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Willanzheim besteht seit 1978 aus den ehemals selbstständigen Gemeinden Herrnsheim, Hüttenheim und Willanzheim. Von Herrnsheim ging die Bezeichnung Markt auf die neue Gemeinde über. Das Gemeindewappen geht auf die Geschichte aller drei Orte ein. Der fränkische Rechen im Schildhaupt weist auf die Herrschaft des Hochstifts Würzburg in Willanzheim von 1628 bis 1803 hin. Die Spaltung von Silber und Blau ist dem Wappen der Familie von Seinsheim entnommen und erinnert an deren Herrschaft in Herrnsheim. Der kleine Schild ist das Wappen des Deutschherrenordens. Der Würzburger Bischof Otto von Lobdeburg (1207 bis 1223) gestattete 1213 die Gründung einer Deutschorden-Niederlassung in Hüttenheim. Der Deutsche Orden verkaufte das Vogteiamt Hüttenheim mit allen Zugehörungen 1680 an die Fürsten von Schwarzenberg. |
