Deutsch: Das Wappen der Verbandsgemeinde zeigt in achtfach von Gold und Blau geteiltem Schildbord oben rechts einen rotbewehrten silbernen Adlerkopf. Das deutet auf die bis zur französischen Revolution dominierende Rolle der Grafen von Leiningen in der Region hin. Unten links ist unter einer grünen Weintraube ein schwarzes Pflugschar zu sehen. Das bezieht sich auf die Bedeutung des Wein- und Ackerbaus für das landschaftliche Gesicht der Verbandsgemeinde.
